About the Artist: The rich and sometimes unexpected interplay between people and nature is often the subject of Dave Aldridge’s photographs. He is drawn to scenes which reflect the ways people interact with the world. He tries to evoke both emotions and questions in the stories he captures through his camera lens. His portfolio is eclectic, with images ranging from landscapes, to abstracts to architecture. His love of travel provides him the opportunity to explore varied places and cultures, experiences he enjoys sharing with viewers.
Dave’s photographs will be exhibited at the Gilpin County Library in a show titled, “As I See It,” from February 8, to March 29. A reception with the artist will be Saturday, March 1st, from 11:00 until 2:00.
