EVER BOTANIC GARDEN
Denver Botanic Gardens strives to entertain and delight while spreading the collective wisdom of the Gardens through outreach, collaboration and education. Our conservation programs play a major role in saving species and protecting natural habitats for future generations.​
  • One pass allows up to 6 people admission on days the Gardens are open.
  • ​Patrons MUST check the Garden's calendar to make sure there are no closures for specials events.  Hours vary depending on whether you are visiting York Street or Chatfield Farms     ​
  • General admission only.  Not valid for special events, classes, or separately ticketed events.
  • The pass is only good on the date specified on the ticket.
  • A printed or electronic copy of the pass must be presented at Visitor Services to visit the gardens.

Denver Firefighters Museum
Housed in Historic Station No. 1, the museum uses an extensive collection of artifacts, photographs, and documents dating from 1866 to the present to tell the story of the Denver Fire Department. The self-guided tour weaves the city’s past with the history of firefighting in creative displays that are entertaining and educational for visitors of all ages.
  • One pass allows up to (4) four people free admission on days the museum is open.
  • The pass is only good on the date specified on the ticket.
  • Present a printed or electronic copy upon arrival.
  • Library Cultural Passes may not be used for museum programs or events.

BUTTERFLY PAVILION
Butterfly Pavilion is the first stand-alone, Association of Zoos and Aquariums-accredited non-profit invertebrate zoo in the world. Our immersive exhibits provide guests the opportunity to discover the wonders of nature's hidden heroes through hands on, interactive experiences catered to all ages.
  • The Pass will allow two (2) free admissions and $5 admission for up to four (4) additional people.
  • Library pass holders must present the pass at the front desk to redeem for general admission tickets.​
  • The pass is only good on the date specified on the ticket.
  • The last entry at 4:15 pm. Our exhibits close at 5:00 pm.

COLORADO RAILROAD MUSEUM
Stroll the Museum’s 15-acre railyard with over 100 locomotives, passenger and freight cars, cabooses and even a G-scale garden railway. Watch as Colorado railroad history is brought back to life in our Roundhouse restoration facility with a working, hand-operated turntable. Visit the 1880s-replica Depot Museum building housing changing exhibits, along with the Denver HO Model Railroad Club’s operating model layout replicating the various types of Colorado mountain railroading. 
  • The Pass will allow admission for six total people per visit to the museum.
  • The Pass does not include train rides or special events such as Day Out With Thomas or Polar Express event. 
  • The Pass is only good on the date specified on the ticket.
  • A printed or electronic copy of the pass must be presented at the front desk to visit.
  • Last entry to the museum is 4:30 pm.

FISKE PLANETARIUM
Fiske Planetarium is located on the beautiful campus of the University of Colorado, in Boulder, Colorado.  Our 65-foot diameter dome is the largest planetarium between Chicago and Los Angeles and seats 206 guests. Our 8K Sky-Skan projection system, cutting-edge content, dazzling visuals, and fantastic sound system are unparalleled. Plus, we have a MegaStar projector which shows 10 million stars and the Milky Way, creating one of the most beautiful indoor skies ever.
  • One pass allows up to 4 people admission.
  • The pass is only good on the date specified on the ticket.
  • A printed copy of the pass must be presented at the front desk of the Fiske Planetarium to receive complimentary tickets.
  • Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to ensure you have enough time to park, pick up your tickets, and find a seat.
  • CU Parking Services now requires our visitors to pay for parking in lot 308. The parking machines accept credit cards, coins or use the ParkMobile app.
  • Please visit the CU campus map for parking options or find more info about short term parking at CU.

State Park Pass

At this time, the Check Out State Parks library backpack pass cannot be used for free vehicle entry on summer weekends and holidays at Eldorado Canyon State Park through Sept. 15, 2023. The timed-vehicle entry system requires a paid pass to be entered. Currently, the system charges a $10 daily entrance fee if no other paid pass is on the patrons account, and park pass fees are nonrefundable. However, you can use the free library backpack pass on summer weekdays driving a car in and/or using the Eldo Shuttle on summer weekends and holidays.
