This is your ticket to adventure! Any Gilpin County Public Library card holder can reserve free passes to metro-area attractions including the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, Butterfly Pavilion, Denver Botanic Gardens, Colorado Railroad Museum & Fiske Planetarium.

EVER BOTANIC GARDEN
Denver Botanic Gardens strives to entertain and delight while spreading the collective wisdom of the Gardens through outreach, collaboration and education. Our conservation programs play a major role in saving species and protecting natural habitats for future generations.​
  • One pass allows up to 6 people admission on days the Gardens are open.
  • Patrons MUST check the Garden's calendar to make sure there are no closures for specials events.  Hours vary depending on whether you are visiting York Street or Chatfield Farms     
  • After reserving the Cultural Pass, you MUST call 720.865.3500 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. (any day of the week) to make a reservation. Tell the Garden's staff person who takes your call that you are making a reservation using their Gilpin County Public Library Cultural Pass.
  • General Admission only at York Street and Chatfield Farms.
  • Not valid for special events, classes, or separately ticketed events.
  • The pass is only good on the date specified on the ticket.
  • A printed or electronic copy of the pass must be presented at Visitor Services to visit the gardens.

DENVER MUSEUM OF NATURE & SCIENCE
Premier natural history and science museum in Denver, Colorado and the western United States. Exhibitions, IMAX and planetarium shows, activities, and more.
  • One pass allows up to 7 people admission on days the museum is open.
  • The pass is only good on the date specified on the ticket.
  • After you book your Culture Pass ticket, simply visit the Ticketing Desk upon arrival at the Museum and present a printed or electronic copy for entry.
  • The IMAX and Planetarium are not included. Please call 303.370.6306 to purchase tickets.

BUTTERFLY PAVILION
Butterfly Pavilion is the first stand-alone, Association of Zoos and Aquariums-accredited non-profit invertebrate zoo in the world. Our immersive exhibits provide guests the opportunity to discover the wonders of nature's hidden heroes through hands on, interactive experiences catered to all ages.
  • The Pass will allow one free person and a $5.00 discount admission per person up to four people on days the pavilion is open.
  • Library pass holders must present the pass at the front desk to redeem for general admission tickets.​
  • The pass is only good on the date specified on the ticket.
  • The last entry at 4:15 pm. Our exhibits close at 5:00 pm.

FISKE PLANETARIUM
Fiske Planetarium is located on the beautiful campus of the University of Colorado, in Boulder, Colorado.  Our 65-foot diameter dome is the largest planetarium between Chicago and Los Angeles and seats 206 guests. Our 8K Sky-Skan projection system, cutting-edge content, dazzling visuals, and fantastic sound system are unparalleled. Plus, we have a MegaStar projector which shows 10 million stars and the Milky Way, creating one of the most beautiful indoor skies ever.
  • One pass allows up to 4 people admission.
  • The pass is only good on the date specified on the ticket.
  • A printed copy of the pass must be presented at the front desk of the Fiske Planetarium to receive complimentary tickets.
  • Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to ensure you have enough time to park, pick up your tickets, and find a seat.
  • CU Parking Services now requires our visitors to pay for parking in lot 308. The parking machines accept credit cards, coins or use the ParkMobile app.
  • Please visit the CU campus map for parking options or find more info about short term parking at CU.

COLORADO RAILROAD MUSEUM
Stroll the Museum’s 15-acre railyard with over 100 locomotives, passenger and freight cars, cabooses and even a G-scale garden railway. Watch as Colorado railroad history is brought back to life in our Roundhouse restoration facility with a working, hand-operated turntable. Visit the 1880s-replica Depot Museum building housing changing exhibits, along with the Denver HO Model Railroad Club’s operating model layout replicating the various types of Colorado mountain railroading. 
  • The Pass will allow admission for six total people per visit to the museum.
  • The Pass does not include train rides or special events such as Day Out With Thomas or Polar Express event. 
  • The Pass is only good on the date specified on the ticket.
  • A printed or electronic copy of the pass must be presented at the front desk to visit.
  • Last entry to the museum is 4:30 pm.
